This historic Adirondack jewel embraces an architecture of the renowned Great Camp era. Designed by master builder Earl Covey who is said to have "made buildings as beautiful as nature herself".
Circa 1899, it was originally operated as an inn and then completely renovated in 2011. Today, it offers the ambiance and romance of an elegant lakefront getaway with 8 bedrooms, 7.5 baths, a modernized kitchen, great hall dining room, expansive living room, game room and 2 large porches. Additionally, two of the upper floor bedrooms have their own sitting porches, 2 with stone fireplaces.
Suitable for up to 16 guests, The Lodge at Twitchell Lake is the perfect location for your family’s Adirondack retreat. Envision lakeside mornings with loon calls acting as your alarm clock, sunny days spent down on the shoreline, BBQ dinners on one of the many porches, and evenings roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. Enjoy time on the water with the 2 double kayaks, 2 single kayaks and the 2 canoes provided for your stay.
A day trip in mind? Twitchell Lake is located in idyllic Webb, NY. The Lodge is located approximately thirty minutes to Old Forge, where guests can discover local taverns, markets, and eateries. Guests can plan out explorations on local trails, or even discover other area lakes- like Big Moose!
The Lodge is located just over two hours from Syracuse, an easy drive for all our visitors from western New York. The Lodge is located approximately two hours to Lake Placid and three hours to Albany.
