Nestled in the heart of the Adirondack Park directly adjacent to the world famous bobsled track
and cross country ski venues of the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympic Games you can hike,
mountain bike, snowshoe, climb, ski, and so much more right outside your back door.

This fully renovated home sleeps six in a three bedroom, two bath configuration. The master
suite upstairs features a luxurious queen bed, natural lighting, gorgeous built-in closets, double
sink vanity, and tiled stand up shower. The main floor has two additional bedrooms, one with a
full double bed (Olympic Room) and one with a twin single (Music Room) with pull out trundle

The living area features an enormous fieldstone fireplace with wood burning stove insert for
your convenience and warmth. The comfortable leather furniture and wicker rockers provide a
great vantage point for the large screen TV above the rustic mantle and beautiful sunsets out
the picture windows.

The downstairs bath includes a pedestal sink and full tub with shower. The home is equipped
with basic cable, free high speed Wi-Fi, and Amazon/Apple TV for your entertainment pleasure.
A tidy desk nook under the stairs allows you to keep in touch with the office, even when you are
on vacation.

The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to create a gourmet meal, but Lake Placid is
a foodie paradise so you may likely head to town instead. If you do cook, a bar height table in
the entryway sits six comfortably when extended. 

A washer and dryer, variety of board games, and a selection of Adirondack books are all at your disposal. On site paved parking with abasketball hoop and stone patio with a gas grill only add to the fun.

This Olympic oasis is tucked into tall pines surrounded by the recent multi-million dollar
improvements to the Mt Van Hoevenberg Sports Complex, yet is just ten minutes to downtown
Lake Placid. It is a short walk to the bobsled run, cross country ski lodge, mountain bike center,
cliffside coaster, and the new Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) Cascade Visitor Center. You
also have direct on-foot access the Cascade, Mt Van Hoevenberg, and Pitchoff ADK trailheads
Click into your skis right off the spacious back deck, gaze at the stars from an Adirondack chair,
or roast s’mores over the outdoor fire pit.
