Camp Wildwood Description
Camp Wildwood, a waterfront family compound, is optimally located on the highly desirable St. Regis Lakes. The St. Regis Lakes host several Adirondack Great Camps. The St. Regis Yacht Club, founded in 1897, hosts sailing regattas throughout the summer, including the unique St. Regis "Idem" sailboats.
Wildwood is part of an original great camp constructed circa 1895. Craftsmen rebuilt the shingle style main lodge in 2009-2010. The compound features eight structures, including the four-bedroom main lodge, two sleeping cottages, a game cabin (with air hockey, foosball, bumper pool and ping pong), a lake's edge lean-to, office cabin, detached garage (with indoor basketball), boathouse (with kayaks, a canoe and a paddleboard), an outdoor shower with lake view, approximately 200 feet of waterfront, and a stone patio with a fire pit for roasting s'mores and telling ghost stories.
The main lodge features two stunning indoor and outdoor wood-burning stone fireplaces and two screened decks overlooking the lake. The living room, kitchen and dining room all feature dramatic lake views. The custom kitchen features marble countertops, tiger maple center island and bar countertop, two dishwashers, a gas range, two refrigerators and microwave. The custom-built hickory dining room table seats ten. The main lodge's master bedroom, guest room and two bunk rooms all feature en suite baths and dramatic lake views and accommodate up to a dozen people. The two sleeping cottages (each with a full bathroom) can accommodate six, for a total capacity of up to 16 people.
